After the death of King Amaziah, the people of Judah crowned his son Uzziah king, even though he was only 16 at the time. Uzziah ruled 52 years from Jerusalem, the hometown of his mother Jecoliah. During his rule, he recaptured and rebuilt the town of Elath.
It was he that built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after the king slept with his fathers.
He built Ailath, and restored it to the dominion of Juda, after that the king slept with his fathers.
Uzziah rebuilt the town of Elath and gave it back to Judah. He did this after Amaziah died and was buried with his ancestors.
He built Elath again after King Amaziah had died. He made it a part of Judah again.
He was the one who built Elat and restored it to Judah after King Amaziah rested with his fathers.

After Amaziah’s death, the Judahites chose Uzziah, who was 16 years old, as their next king. During his reign he recaptured the port city of Eloth for Judah, bringing economic growth to the nation. Uzziah, son of Amaziah and Jechiliah of Jerusalem, reigned 52 years in Jerusalem.
